The Adirondack Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society (ACBS) is not only one of the oldest chapters, but rich with history dating back to the origins of ACBS.
The Adirondack Chapter is based in upstate New York, with coverage from the Lake George and Capital District regions through the Adirondack Park. The chapter comprises of about 230 members. They host two rendezvous style shows each season; the Fulton Chain Rendezvous in Old Forge and the Lake George Rendezvous naturally at Lake George.
Fulton Chain Rendezvous is July 13-14 at Old Forge, NY at the town docks. Friday evening Welcome Reception, Saturday Boat Show, and Awards Dinner.
The 45th Annual Lake George Rendezvous is August 24-25. Friday afternoon and evening tours and welcome cocktails and dinner. Saturday 10 am Lake George Village Docks, Beach Road, Lake George to 4 pm Water Parade followed by dinner.
There are three more fun evening gatherings by boat or car at a local restaurant to share conversation, food and drinks. The next one is June 20th. See the ACBS events calendar for dates and locations.
There are typically two workshops, spring and fall, which are often hosted at local boat restoration shops or boat builders. In addition to workshops, we also have fun events like Poker Runs and outings to different locations in the area.
