Blackhawk Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society is the featured chapter of the week.

Clicking on Blackhawk Chapter will take you to more information about this ACBS Chapter.  The membership of this chapter resides mainly in northern Illinois and along the Lake Michigan side of Wisconsin.

The Blackhawk Chapter supports two annual shows. The July event is on Fox Lake in Illinois and the September event is at Geneva Lake, Wisconsin.  Both events are well attended by the public to see the amazing display of vintage boats.

Other events happen throughout the year as reported in their chapter newsletter.  They just finished a “two shop” workshop, starting at  Delevan Lake Boat Shed with coffee and doughnuts, Then they traveled to Streblow Custom Boats a few miles away for a light lunch compliments of the Blackhawk Chapter. Following lunch, they continued their education of boat restoration and maintenance at Streblow Custom Boats.

On the social side, they start the season with a Spring Dinner in Fontana, Wisconsin.  This sounds like a fun group to enjoy.

The Blackhawk Chapter Facebook page is where they share many pictures from their events.
