The Adirondack Chapter is based in upstate New York, with coverage from the Lake George and Capital District regions through the Adirondack Park. The chapter comprises of about 250 members. We host two rendezvous style shows each season; the Fulton Chain Rendezvous in Old Forge and the Lake George Rendezvous naturally at Lake George.
There are typically two workshops, spring and fall, which are often hosted at local boat restoration shops or boat builders. In addition to workshops, we also have fun events like Poker Runs and outings to different locations in the area.
Chapter board meetings are held throughout the year and all members are welcome to attend and participate.
An annual board meeting and dinner is in October and features a silent auction that raises funds for chapter events. When possible, the chapter subsidizes the cost of meals at shows and the annual dinner.
The Fourth Watch is our newsletter that is published approximately four times a year.
The Adirondack Chapter website offers you more details about this chapter.
The Antique and Classic Boat Society is an international organization made up of 54 chapters. There are chapters in the United States, Canada, and France. Each one of the chapters has a dedicated page on this website that includes the upcoming events which have been submitted to ACBS, news articles in which the chapter has been tagged, and any additional pictures identified with the chapter.
Always identified with a certain geographic region, they all seem to have their own personality, too.
