1955 19' Chris Craft Capri classic mahogany runabout is an all original boat including engine, instruments, spot light, bow flag, tail light with flag, and original Brass Fire Extinguisher. Everything works and is in good overall condition! "KLC Engine" 120 hp, 6 Cylinders gas engine with approximately low 200 hours since rebuild with bronze exhaust system. Boat serviced by 6 volt original electrical system with two new batteries, including a concealed "Dead Man" ignition switch. Maximum speed 35 MPH with 30 gallon fuel capacity.
Chris Craft only produced 786 hulls of this Capri model between 1955 and 1958 (this hull ID #CP19-089). Their 2-tone blonde and red mahogany deck scheme has become one of the most desired post-war Chris Craft models. All of the wood is preserved and/or replaced to a condition from back in 1955 when it came from the Chris Craft plant including original bottom that swells tight in one day and is in good condition. Boat has always been used in fresh water, engine winterized, kept in covered slip, and comes with 1985 Trail Master single-axle trailer.
