SLIP, a MERCURY Ski Tug (14ft) built in early 1950s (53-55) purchased by owner in summer of 2019 and restored over the next 3-1/2 years. Engine is a 90hp Grey Marine Fireball Four-90 rebuilt by Van Ness. All wood is original with 24 coats of Epiphanes on topsides and deck. A new legal alloy 12 Gal. fuel tank was installed. Converted to 12 volts, with bilge pump and vapor alarm installed. Upholstery is by Rods Stitched Interiors. All fittings re-chromed by Sherms in Sacramento. Trailer is powder coated black with 3 form fitted bunks. Trailer has surge brakes, spare wheel/tire and LED lights. A new prop shaft and coupling was installed with original prop and a spare 11X11 prop is provided. Since restoration the boat has seen 25 hours of use.
