A-day-cruise-on-beautiful-Lake-Chatuge3-1024x682A simple gathering of boating friends, open to the public with stunning mountains as the backdrop to a beautiful lake was held June 4, 2016.

A day cruise on beautiful Lake Chatuge, plus boat gazing, and the ever popular Cardboard Boat Building, and a floating regatta. Our show is always about friends gathering to celebrate antique and classic boating, but more importantly friendship and family.

  1. What a wonderful weekend. Old friends and new friends sharing our love and appreciation for our beautiful pieces of history. Make plans join us next year!

  2. This event is always so much fun. The beauty of the North Georgia/North Carolina mountains are a breathtaking backdrop to a wonderful weekend. The view however pales in comparison to the joy of being surrounded by our boating family. The 30th annual Lake Chatuge Rendezvous should be the first weekend in June 2017 and the Ridges Resort provides covered slips for the event.

  3. It was a wonderful weekend. The setting couldn’t be more beautiful with the mountains in the background. The Hollis garage was quite a surprise venue for the BBQ. Friendships old and new can always be counted on at this rendezvous.

  4. First time to the Lake Chatuge show, and won’t be the last! Beautiful venue, great friends, what more could you ask for?

  5. This is such an extraordinary weekend and event! From the setting to the boats, the activities, and the warm spirit of camaraderie throughout, memories are made and friendships celebrated each year. Since the beginning of the show, we now have third-generation participants that we love seeing return each year. We are already looking forward to the 2017 gathering, during which we will celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary!
