Be generous with the pictures on your phone. Why did you take the picture of a great looking boat anyway?
You may email those photos of people having fun in Classic Boats to kathyparker@acbs.org to be included on this website. You also can share them directly from your phone to your Instagram account. Your own friends will see the picture, but an easy way to have the picture shared publicly around the world with others interested in Classic Boats is to add the hashtag:
#acbsboats
How do I create an Instagram account?
To create an Instagram account on your phone from the app:
- Download the Instagram app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Once the app is installed, tap
to open it.
- Tap Sign Up With Email or Phone Number, then enter your email address or phone number (which will require a confirmation code) and tap Next. You can also tap Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
- If you register with your email or phone number, create a username and password, fill out your profile info and then tap Done. If you register with Facebook, you’ll be prompted to log into your Facebook account if you’re currently logged out.
This is your own personal account. Any picture of boats or boating should have #acbsboats added to the caption with the picture.
If you are new to this, here are some steps to follow: From your opening screen, click on the + button.
Gallery is the default selection and you will be able to see the photos stored on your phone. Click on one ( or several), then “next”. 
( If you want to take a photo and not use the gallery, just choose “Photo” instead.)
After clicking “NEXT”, then you write a caption ( tell enough to identify the boat) then add the #acbsboats 
You may add a location and choose to also have the photo shared on your other social media accounts. Did you remember to add #acbsboats? After you’ve typed the #acbsboats a few times, it will appear as a choice as soon as you type the #.
Finally, click on Share.
After your photo is published, click on the #acbsboats. I wonder how quickly the gallery will grow into thousands of classic boats and people enjoying those boats.
You may add the same #acbsboats in Facebook posts, also. When that is clicked, it will bring up other photos that have been posted with that hashtag in Facebook.
