The Gull Lake Classic is on! The Bob Speltz Land-o-Lakes Chapter of ACBS is excited to announce details of the Gull Lake Classic at Bar Harbor on August 25th & 26th 2023.

This year, we are celebrating 100 years of Gar Wood boats!

We anticipate seeing Gar Wood boats coming to the show from all over the country. While we expect a great showing of Gar Wood boats, all brands and boat types are welcome so please consider entering your boat into the show!

Bar Harbor Supper Club is graciously hosting this event using their own docks and boat launch, and providing a tent for Friday evening’s social event.

FRIDAY ACTIVITIES

Friday, August 25^th

Friday afternoon will kick off the event with a cruise on the Gull chain. You can launch on your own at the landing near Bar Harbor, and the cruise departs from Bar Harbor at 1:00pm, with a return to the docks at 4:00pm. Lunch on your own is available at Bar Harbor.

There is no registration fee for the afternoon cruise, however we ask that you register for the cruise so we can accommodate for meals and dock spaces.

The Friday evening event will be a Barbecue & Band under the tent at Bar Harbor, beginning at 6:00pm. There are no limits or restrictions to the number of tickets per boat registration so tell all your friends and family they’re invited to share in this fun event! The cost is $35/person.

Friday night overnight dockage for boats participating in the cruise and the show is available at Bar Harbor Supper Club.

SATURDAY ACTIVITIES

Saturday, August 26^th

The show itself will take place on Saturday, August 26th, at Bar Harbor.

Please plan to have your boat in place by 9:00 AM, enjoy the day with others and stick around for the awards presentation at 3:00pm. The show will conclude at 4:00pm.

7:00am – 9:00am Complimentary Skipper’s Breakfast, Bar Harbor

9:00am – 4:00pm Show Open

3:00pm – Awards Presentation
