I received a call today from one of our Northern California/Lake Tahoe Chapter members. One of the things we ended up talking about was the informal fun events that NorCal/Lake Tahoe Chapter members often do together. The fun of boating is getting together and going boating! The timing for this call was spot on because earlier in the week I had just recently looked through some photos that my husband took at one such event in 2015. The boat owners were recreating the old Lake Tahoe races of yester-year, and they had a lot of fun doing it!
I hope these photos inspire you and your Chapter have these informal get togethers on your home waters this coming boating season.

I think this was a wonderful event I would like to see it again. I would definitely enter and join in for the fun!
