Christopher Smith, lone survivor of the 3rd Generation of the Chris-Craft boat building family, shares more stories with us!
This fourth installment includes an exciting tale of 12 year old Christopher Smith piloting a 60-foot yacht all by himself through the Chicago River system. This is one of four stories Chris has shared with us to help promote the 2018 ACBS International Boat Show and Pre-Events, otherwise known as “Boat the Blue”, which will be held in Port Huron, Michigan from September 9-16, 2018.

The 2018 ACBS Annual Meeting and International Boat Show, as well as amazing days of pre-events, will be held September 9-15 at Port Huron, Michigan.
Michigan Chapter of ACBS, the host chapter, invites us all to visit the area where legendary boat manufacturers such as Chris Craft and Gar Wood began. Experiencing the places “Where It All Began” will be the backdrop for storytelling. To prime our interest, a series of videos has been prepared featuring one of the best storytellers ever, Chris Smith.
