The Okanagan Chapter of ACBS covers most of Western Canada with members from as far East as Calgary and as far West as Victoria. They also have members from Northwestern USA so they are international as well.
The Okanagan Chapter will hold its 7th annual Antique and Classic Boat Show Sept. 28th, 29th and 30th, 2018 at Penticton, British Columbia.
We are very pleased and excited to invite you to participate in the Annual Okanagan Antique & Classic Boat Show. Come and show your boat on Okanagan Lake, where the rare sight of these old beauties creates a buzz of excitement for the residents and visitors alike.
This is a new date in a new venue. It will be exciting!
In the meantime, Okanagan Chapter members have been busy taking their boats to car shows and community celebrations.
- On May 20th club attended the annual Peachland World Of Wheels Car Show. Thanks to the Middletons for bringing six Boats! The stream of people coming to see the boats never stopped!
- Early in June, they attended the Burrard Yacht Club’s annual Classic Boat and Car show. What a great event! We got lucky with the weather and had an awesome showing of larger boats and some unreal cars!
- One More Show….This one was for a good cause … June 23 was the annual Stay Gold Car Show in Langley for mental health. All kinds of beautiful cars there so when you bring a classic boat you are almost guaranteed to be the best boat there!
Okanagan members have found that no matter where you take classic boats, they attract attention and it becomes a great opportunity to share the passion for vintage boats and ACBS.
Okanagan members are also frequent participants in shows and cruises all around the Northwest. It’s great to be part of a network that connects so many people who are enthusiastic about boats and boating.

Inlet Belle is a 25 ft Launch built in 1900 owned by Okanagan members Ian and Sylvia Devlin.
I was on sonday at Pendicton but unfortunately the show was cancelled because of the weather.
I came all the way from Holland (during my holidays) to visit the show.
I hope next time better.
Greetings
