The Smith Mountain Lake Chapter recently sent notification of the passing of their long time member Don Smith. Don was a man who exhibited all the characteristics of living a full life that we all strive to achieve. His never ending abilities to promote ACBS and the wooden boat hobby were unequaled. Don spent a lifetime traveling the country to attended boat shows where he felt very much at home with his fellow boat enthusiasts. He will be sorely missed by all.
