The Blue Ridge Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society has a great display of boats at the Upstate Boat Show in Greenville, South Carolina.

If you are close by – stop in to see them. The show at the Greenville Convention Center continues through Sunday, January 28, 2018.

Spectators love to see the boats on land because they can get up close and personal with the boat and ask all kinds of questions.  The public is often surprised that with modern methods and materials, classic boats are as easy to maintain as a new boat AND the vintage boat keeps its value over time.

Blue Ridge Chapter members brought boats that range from 1939 to 1987.

Thank you, John Heiderich, President of the Blue Ridge Chapter for sending these pictures to share on the website.

Gary Fesperman, member of the Blue Ridge Chapter and also the Secretary of ACBS, is manning the membership information table.  Gary, like all ACBS members, is enthusiastic about spreading the word about the value of ACBS membership – starting with the information and fun shared by members.

Antique and Classic Boat Society Chapters are busy all year long.

This time of year there are many winter boat shows where dealers are selling new boats. More and more of the dealer shows are finding that having a display of vintage boats is a big draw for their show and a very popular attraction.

Many Restoration Workshops are also scheduled during this time of year.  It’s a great time for members to share their skills and knowledge AND get those boats ready for spring.

Share what your Chapter is doing this winter.   Email pictures and report to kathyparker@acbs.org
