I had never seen an Aristo Craft before I went to a boat show in Mt. Dora, Florida. The boat is made in Atlanta, GA. and most of them have been sold on the east coast. They were made in the 1950s in a family business and again today. There was a period when none were produced until younger family members got involved. I looked for a year or so to find one in reasonable shape to restore. I quickly discovered that the boats in good shape were never bargains and vice versa.. Fortunately they started manufacturing again. I bought a 2005 model new and added trailer and motor. In the Keels & Wheels it falls under the Contempry Class. It gets a lot of attention as well as some offers. The nice thing is they are not hard to find and you can always buy a new one.
