Great weather helped to make the 48th Annual Lake George Rendezvous weekend exceptional. The weekend began with a pre-showing at the Bolton Landing village docks on Friday morning. (Okay so a little rain fell but it was still well attended with 20 boats on display.) On Friday late afternoon the chapter hosted an impressive pasta-buffet cocktail party for 80 at the Fort William Henry Resort. On Saturday there were 44 registered boats in the water and on land. The show concluded with a parade and ever-crowd-pleasing fly-bys. The variety of boats and participation from multiple ACBS Chapters was one of the best ever. An estimated 3000 people viewed the show at the Lake George Village docks. The enthusiasm generated by the show extended into the evening awards dinner with another 80 people in attendance. Show Co-Chairs Ed and Sally Becker and Adam Weisburgh, along with the volunteer team received a roaring standing ovation! The ADK signed up 22 new members at the show while the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club signed up 10 new members with their 100th Anniversary presence. Thank you to all the ACBS members from other chapters!
