The Indian Lake Ohio Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society was founded in 2007 as an evolution of the Wooden Keels & Vintage Wheels boat & car show held annually for over ten years at Russells Point Harbor on Indian Lake.

By forming a local ACBS chapter, the founders of the annual show were able to create continuity for future shows as well as an organization for local owners of historic, antique and classic boats.
The show was created and organized annually by Steve Hale, Bob Whited, and John Coleman. To create continuity for future shows, as well as an organization for local owners of historic, antique and classic boats, Steve and John along with Greg Wallace and Jon Gillespie formed a local ACBS chapter.
Our chapter promotes this vision to enthusiasts throughout Central and Northwestern Ohio. We’re a volunteer, non-profit organization. In addition to the annual Wooden Keels & Vintage Wheels show, the Indian Lake Chapter has several social events throughout the year where members can catch up on families, what’s going on around the lake, and share their latest boat projects.
The Indian Lake chapter is a volunteer, non-profit organization. In addition to the annual Indian Lake Vintage Boat & Auto Show, now in it’s 26th year, the Indian Lake Chapter has several social events throughout the year where members can catch up on families, lake-area news, and share their latest boat projects. The chapter also supports local charities. The Indian Lake ACBS chapter has a social media presence on Facebook @Indian Lake Chapter ACBS and a website @www.indianlakeacbs.com.
