In 2016 we bought a building that was built by an electrical contractor back in the 1940’s. The building originally had a lighting showroom in the front and shop space in the back. We bought the building from the grandchildren of the original owner. For the last 3 years we have leased back 1/3 of the building to them as part of the purchase deal. This year we have taken over full occupancy of the building and we have moved our wood shop into a larger space. We kept the knotty pine walls as they were but we removed the drop ceiling that held all of the light fixtures that were for sale. We also insulated the ceiling, hung new LED lights and installed a new furnace. We still have many things to finish to get our new shop space complete, but we are glad to have more room to work on more projects. We hope to have most of this done for our open house in January. We will be announcing the date soon, so check our website for details. www.motorboatgarage.com
Nice looking workspace! Thanks for sharing the photos and story.
Brian & team — Congratulations on your expansion. It really looks good and hopefully will allow you to
work on more quality projects. Best Wishes, Pete
