Tahoe Yacht Club is recognized as the ACBS Associate Member of the week.

The Tahoe Yacht Club is an Associate Member of the Antique and Classic Boat Society.  ACBS recognizes them with gratitude for their support of our organization. This business is also a member of the Northern California/Lake Tahoe Chapter of ACBS.

The Tahoe Yacht Club was established in 1925 in Tahoe City, California. The Club focus is on providing opportunities for mingling with others who share interests in an active social and outdoor life.

The Club has evolved over the years into a year-round organization offering a wide range of social and outdoor activities. Membership includes full-time Lake Tahoe residents, and members from Northern California and beyond who spend part-time at the Lake. The Club has active spring and summer sailing and power boating programs and groups interested in golf, tennis and bocce ball. For individual use, members have access to kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and a fleet of Pico, Sunfish and Laser sailboats.  In the winter the TYC Penguins ski together at local ski areas. Year round, there is an active social schedule of bridge games, wine tastings, dinners, events marking special occasions such as the Kentucky Derby, Super Bowl Sunday, New Year’s and the very popular monthly First Friday parties with excellent hosted hors d’oeuvres.

The Tahoe Yacht Club is the sponsor of the famous Concours d’Elegance.  This year is the 45th Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’ Elegance, Friday, August 11th to Saturday, August 12th at Obexer’s Marina in Homewood on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.
