The ROVER AWARD is  given by the Antique & Classic Boat Society in recognition of the implementation of a cruise, encouraging the use of antique and classic boats for the enjoyment of  society’s members.

The 2015 Rover Award was presented to two ACBS members of the Sunnyland Chapter for their annual planning and conducting the infamous St. Johns River Cruises; southbound on the St. Johns River in Florida prior to the annual Tavares Boat Show on Lake Dora, and then northbound following the annual Sunnyland show.  Having completed 29 years for this event, these two Florida natives continue to plan and conduct the 140 mile cruises on the St. Johns River.  Awards are presented at the ACBS Annual Meeting’s Awards Banquet.
