Vashti is a 1946 22' Hutchinson custom utility built for Union Carbide who owned a fishing lodge on Stony Island. Hutchinson Boat Works built 5 boats for them & they have unique covering boards for Hutchies. Vashti was originally a fishing guide boat, so under her stern's middle seat she's uniquely equipped with a metal-lined bait well to hold water. She has 6 other compartments, including a secret one behind the driver's seat. She has a removable center windshield, and is a sturdy boat that cuts very effectively through waves. I bought her 22 y ago from Perry Woods in Alex Bay. We have 2 Hutchies & she is our go-to for larger groups & bigger water. Chrysler Engine + canvas weather bimini to keep passengers dry.
