Cable jackets have glossy black lacquer coating over cotton braid and inner conductors are plated copper like the OE. Spark plug terminals are swedged-on. Distributor terminals are supplied loose so that the wires can e threaded through the loom (The terminals are designed to self-swedge when the wires are inserted into the distributor cap).
