A 2015 Gold Restored 1937 Antique Award was earned by “Rebecca B”.
“Rebecca B” is a Gar Wood 19 ft. Barrel Back. She was built in 1937.
She is owned by Russell Hagen who is a member of the Bob Speltz Land-o-Lakes Chapter.
The “Antique” term is applied to boats that were built between 1919 and 1942, inclusive. Gold Awards are presented to boats that are judged to be worthy of 92 through 96 points. At the Annual International Boat Show held at Gull Lake, Minnesota, 31 Gold Awards in total were presented to boats in various classes.
