2018 promises to be a nautical year!
There are things to do and places to go! The ACBS Events Calendar will help you fill your new calendars with learning experiences, travel plans, and just plain fun things to do.
If you know of other chapter events or events of interest to our vintage boating community, please share an invitation with us. The submission form is easy. The event will be added to the online events calendar and will also be listed in the next available Rudder publication.
If you are an ACBS member, you will be welcomed at every event sponsored by an ACBS Chapter. Just imagine all of the friends you have to visit this year! There are 53 Chapters located in France, Canada, and the United States. As the year unfolds, keep checking the ACBS Events Calendar and the Chapters Map to align your travels with other chapter events.
On the interactive map, you may zoom-in to separate the pins that are close together, Also, each pin is a link to more information about the chapter including event dates they have placed on the calendar.
New Year’s Resolution Suggestion
Share your interest in Antique and Classic Boats. Every picture that you share on this website will get the attention of someone new who wonders about boats, their history, their story, their future. Share your expertise and what you have learned by owning a vintage boat. Share your questions! Share the fun you are having with friends and family in your vintage boat.
What do you have to share?
- single pictures of a boat (with manufacturer, year, location, photographer, etc.) will be on the Tuesday Tour of vintage boats
- a series of pictures of a boat with the story of acquisition or preservation or restoration will become a feature news story
- reports of an event with pictures will also be a featured news story
Throughout the year, email pictures and articles to [email protected]. We all will be glad you did!
