This fall, the historic waterfront of Georgetown, South Carolina, will once again come alive with the beauty and craftsmanship of wooden boats at the 36th Annual Georgetown Wooden Boat Show (GWBS).

Around 100 classic wooden boats—from sleek paddleboards and handcrafted canoes to beautifully restored cruisers—will be displayed both on land and in the water. Exhibitors are invited to showcase their boats in one of twelve categories, including Row, Canoe, Kayak, Classic Sail, Inboard and Outboard Power, Owner Designed & Built, and Century Class. Model boats and cradle boats are also welcome.

Beyond the exhibits, visitors can enjoy maritime arts and crafts, a boat building competition, music, food, and the opportunity to meet wooden boat builders, craftsmen, and owners. Each year, awards are presented in every category, including People’s Choice and Special Awards, celebrating the talent and passion of these boat owners.
