Are you going to the 2018 ACBS Annual Meeting and International Boat Show?

Bring along the stories about your boat(s) and your boating experiences. And be prepared to listen and enjoy as others are shared.

There will be “old masters”, current restorers, contemporary boat builders, and fellow members all participating in Classic Conversations.

The Boat the Blue event committee had interviews with Chris Smith recorded just to pique our interest as we anticipate the 2018 ACBS International Event.  Chris Smith is the grandson of the founder of the Chris Craft Company.  He grew up working in the Algonac Chris Craft factory and became a master boatbuilder in his own right – as well as a master storyteller.

The ACBS Annual Meeting and International Boat Show will be at Port Huron, Michigan beginning with Michigan Chapter Hosted pre-events on Sunday, September 9 running through the ACBS Awards Banquet on Saturday, September 15.

Where were the Chris Craft engines prepared for the boats?  What is dolphinite?  Learn the answers in this newly released interview with Chris Smith:

Registration for Boat the Blue is available for ACBS members by clicking on MEMBERS ONLY in the top menu.
