Water Wonderland Chapter of ACBS is one of the largest chapters, and one with valued traditions, community involvement, and forward-looking goals.

The Water Wonderland Chapter hosts a large variety of events throughout the year, mainly in western and northern Michigan.  Winter months’ happenings include the Grand Rapids Boat Show where one of the main attractions is the family boat building taking place right at the show.  (more description of this project in yesterday’s post)

The Water Wonderland Chapter website includes this statement:

The Water Wonderland Chapter/ACBS has enjoyed consistent growth year after year — our officers and directors work diligently to ensure this continues to be a hallmark of our chapter. We are also constantly seeking to expand upon and/or improve the activities of the chapter, meeting the needs of the membership as that membership changes. Towards that end, we realize, as does the ACBS, that the future of our collective organizations can only be found in today’s youth — more specifically, first attracting their interest in antique and classic boats and secondly, retaining that interest through appropriate benefits and activities.

There are so many events hosted by ACBS Chapters all year.  Look to see what is going on:

  • in your own chapter (click on your own chapter under the Chapters tab on this website)
  • in chapters that are near your vacation or business route   (look at the Events Calendar for the time you’ll be traveling)
  • at a location you’ve always wanted to visit.  Then plan your trip around that time and place.

One of the most valuable benefits of ACBS membership comes from meeting more people who share the passion.
