AMERICA’S RIVER ROOTS FESTIVAL
The ACBS to participate in the
AMERICA’S RIVER ROOTS FESTIVAL
Cincinnati, Ohio October 9-12, 2025
This is a signature event to kickoff America’s 250th Celebration taking place on the Cincinnati, Covington and Newport Riverfronts.
This promises to be a truly amazing experience featuring nine stunning riverboats, the beautiful riverfront, wonderful music, delicious cuisine and a historical glimpse of culture from a bygone era.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Antique and Classic boat enthusiasts and the ACBS to show off our beautiful boats during a world class event to a group of people expected to top 1 million over the course of the five-day festival.
The fun starts on Thursday afternoon October 9th when we will be escorting the paddle wheelers in the Opening Parade. Thursday evening, we will boat to dinner at the Riverside Marina Bar and Grill upstream from our homeport marina, Manhattan Harbour.
Friday participants will have a great opportunity to sign-up for an excursion on one of the beautiful riverboats. For those who can’t get enough boating, we will have a poker run with stops at some of the local waterfront restaurants. Friday evening, we have dinner planned at Blue Catty’s restaurant located on the water at our home base marina.
Saturday afternoon we will hold a parade in front of the Cincinnati riverfront. There will be an announcer on shore letting the huge group of spectators know about the boats and crews as they pass by the paddle wheelers. Saturday evening, we have a dinner planned at the top of the Radisson where the food is delicious, and the view of the riverfront, downtown Cincinnati and the evening fireworks show will be spectacular.
Sunday afternoon we will once again be out on the river participating in the festival. We will be escorting the Belle of Louisville and the Steamboat Natchez during the final day closing race to end the festival.
To make participating easy we have a block of rooms reserved at the Radisson Riverfront Hotel. Our home base marina is Manhattan Harbour located a few miles upstream from downtown. They have a nice, protected, off river launch ramp, dockage for our boats and ample trailer storage for the duration of the event.
Don’t miss this tremendous event. Reach out today for more information and to register for this very unique opportunity for the antique and classic boating community.
