Door County Classic and Wooden Boat Show
The Door County Maritime Museum’s 35th annual Classic and Wooden Boat Show takes place on the grounds of the museum in downtown Sturgeon Bay, WI. Opening the city’s celebration of Maritime Week, a salute to the US Coast Guard, the show hosts 50 to 70 boats each year both ashore and afloat. A pre-event cruise and party takes place on July 31st for registered boaters. The show features the Sikaflex Boatbuilding Challenge and race, a madcap events that draws hundreds of visitors. There are kids’ activities, the museum to visit, a concert performance by the Peninsula Symphonic Band, and the boats to view. This year, the Museum is extending a special invitation to classic early fiberglass boat owners- the 2026 “Marque of the Year” and setting a 1950’s Rock and Roll theme to the show. For registration information and details, including picture galleries from previous years, go to http://www.dcclassicboatshow.com. ACBS Glacier Lakes Chapter will be in attendance at the Show.
